Open Streets + Roslindale Open Studios at Midnight Morning

  • Midnight Morning 14 Birch Street Boston United States (map)

Sunday is a big day in Rozzie! Here are all the details.

Open Streets Boston: Roslindale
Sunday, 10:30am–3pm

For the first time, Open Streets Boston comes to Roslindale. Corinth Street and Poplar Street become a car-free space with live music, food trucks and kids’ activities. Check out a map below and links for more information.

Roslindale Open Studios
Sunday, 11am–5pm

The 20th annual Roslindale Open Studios is a free, neighborhood-wide celebration, with more than 100 artists showing and selling work in home studios, group sites and local businesses. Expect live demos, hands-on art activities and a Home Studio Bingo raffle, with entertainment on Birch Street Plaza, right outside our door.

Featured artist at Midnight Morning: Catherine Siller

We’re proud to host Catherine Siller as our Open Studios artist this weekend. Catherine is a Roslindale-based choreographer and multimedia artist whose work in video, live performance and works on paper challenges gender norms and expectations. Her work has been shown at EMPAC, the NARS Foundation and the Boston Short Film Festival.

Stop in to see her work and meet her. She’ll be joining us at 10am for brunch and staying throughout the day. Pick up one of her collage kits to take home, or stay and make one with us. They make great gifts too! See more at catherinesiller.com.

We’re open as usual

Join us for brunch, coffee and cocktails before or during the festivities, or stay for dinner afterward. The kitchen serves food until 9pm, and the bar stays open after that.

Find us outside!

We’ll be out on the street with our house-made donuts and pastries. Grab one to go while you explore Open Streets and Open Studios, then come in for coffee or a cocktail.

Getting here

Corinth Street (Belgrade Ave to Washington St) and Poplar Street (South St to Washington St) are closed to cars from 9am to 4pm. There’s plenty of neighborhood parking all around, and we’re a short walk from the Roslindale Village T station.
